Join Us at EGN 2024 Iceland: Social Events

As part of the 17th European Geoparks Network conference hosted by Reykjanes Geopark on October 2–4, 2024, we are excited to present a range of social events that foster networking, learning, and fun. Here's what to expect:

October 2:

Get-Together Event
 After a full day of conference activities, join us in the lively Rock‘n‘Roll exhibition hall for an informal get-together. Enjoy light drinks and delicious bites while meeting fellow participants in a relaxed atmosphere. This is the perfect chance to unwind, share ideas, and connect.

Geofair & Open House
 Later in the evening, you are invited to the Duus Museum for an exciting Geofair and open house. Participants and the public alike will have the opportunity to explore fascinating exhibitions and learn about Geoparks from across the globe. The Geofair event will be open from 18:30 until 20:30. Afterward, guests are encouraged to explore the various restaurants in town for a delightful dinner. This is a wonderful opportunity to network and experience global geological treasures.

October 3:

Final Dinner
 Celebrate the conclusion of the second day with a festive Final Dinner featuring local Icelandic cuisine. The evening promises music, dancing, and great company—providing an unforgettable night of cultural immersion and celebration of the Geoparks community.
